Helping Keep Lailani Safe, Supported & Home

Lailani may be little, but she has already shown an incredible amount of strength. Throughout her young life, she has faced complex medical challenges, including chronic respiratory failure that requires a tracheostomy and ventilator support. After an extended stay in the NICU, her journey has continued with frequent medical care and hospitalizations.

Through it all, Lailani continues to grow, learn, and bring joy to the people around her.

Caring for Lailani requires her mom to be by her side, especially when reliable private-duty nursing isn't available. Between caring for Lailani and her sibling, hospital stays, and traveling to medical daycare, maintaining consistent work has become incredibly difficult. At the same time, the cost of Lailani's medical equipment has contributed to rising household expenses, putting additional strain on the family.
