Helping Angel Focus on Being 12

Angel is a sweet 12-year-old who has been through many difficulties in his short life. Angel is being cared for by his grandparents as his parents are unavailable to care for him at this time. His mother passed away tragically around four years ago, and Angel calls his grandparents his parents.

Angel was recently diagnosed with a childhood cancer, ALL, and has been struggling to cope with treatment and diagnosis. He finds solace in his ability to play and excel in soccer. With his diagnosis, he has not been able to play and has had a hard time with it.

His grandmother has been by his side throughout his treatment and to help with his coping. His grandmother’s husband has been supporting both grandmother and Angel but has missed days of work to provide emotional support.

The family is currently struggling to make ends meet for their house payment, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
